Dig Into Reading
Calling all prospectors! Dig into a good book and come join the fun at Coos Bay Public Library this summer. Enjoy storytelling, comedy, music, weird and wonderful creatures, reading programs and much, much more. There are six free, fun Summer Reading programs for you to enjoy. Preschool-12th Grade.

Under Your feet: Write your name on one cut-out for each book you read this summer and we will decorate the Children’s Department with them.

- Thursday, July 11 at 11:00 am – Hart’s Reptile World: Trekking with Turtles. Fantastic variety of turtles and tortoises.
- Thursday, July 18, at 11:00 am – Meg Balaconis: Rocks Talk! Find what’s beneath our feet and enjoy great crafts.
- Thursday, July 25, at 11:00 am – Rich Glauber: Music in Action. Interactive songs, music and fun dances.
- Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 am – Jason Robb: Dragon Theater Puppets. I Dig Dinosaurs: an incredible puppet show you really don’t want to miss!
