Children’s Department Activities
January – April 2012
Storytimes:
Wednesdays at 10:30am. and Thursdays at 11:30am. A full schedule of these Storytimes is available in the Children’s Department. There will be no Storytimes during the week of Spring Break, March 26-30. Storytime will resume on Wednesday, April 4.
Bilingual Storytimes:
Every second Monday in the month at 10:00am. Stories will be read in Spanish by local volunteers when available, and also in English.
SPECIAL PROGRAMS
Valentine’s Day Program - Saturday, February 11th 11:00am.
Anne-Louise Sterry - Music, songs, stories, treats, FUN! All ages welcome.
Dr. Seuss Night at the Library – Thursday, March 1st 6:30pm-7:30pm.
Stories read by members of Marshfield High School’s Honor Society. Free books, bookmarks, activities. Refreshments. All ages welcome.
Around the Library in 80 Days - March 9th – May 25th
Independent reading program for great prizes. Free books to all participants. Prize drawings and free book pick-up Friday, May 25 at 3:30pm in the Children’s Department at the library.
Celebration of Literacy: Young Author’s Tea
Saturday, April 28th 1:00pm-3:00pm.
In co-operation with D-9 schools, there will be a reception in the Myrtlewood Room at the library featuring a display of children’s work. Students will be invited to read from their work. Free books. Refreshments.
All ages welcome.
